Dear Readers,

this will be my last posting in this blog. i have written much about my daily life at work, at home, and at play. after near to 2500 pictures within 8 months i take a bow.

i have never given up blogging, just that i am moving 'house'. ( and i still managed 2 other blog pages under anonymous name)

do come back to this blog to find the updates of my new blog address.

i stayed back a little while completing my unfinished task in the net.

leaving after 0032hrs. time to clock off. see you next week everyone.

i took bus service 123 towards Clemenceau Avenue and continued my journey to Serangoon Road by foot.

at Shafina's Cuisine i had canned, young Coconut juice. thirst quencher.

as i was about to head down to internet 103. bumped into Mat Shah and Yus. hello, long time no see. poor Yus hit by Chicken Pox. get well soon. i spend a good 4 hours before i decide to leave at 0619hrs.

again i met Mat Shah and Yus. Zachary was around too. i invite Mat Shah and Yus for breakfast. myself, i had 1 Prata Kosong and 1 Prata Telor. dropped in Mustafa bought some toiletries before heading home.

surprised to see Uncle Roslan at home. welcome back. so long time no see. he was getting ready to go to work. see you around.

i freshen up and straight to bed. waking up at 1316hrs. hearing grandma at the door from market.

i get ready and had lunch with grandma. we had rice with Kuah Asam Nenas Ikan. delicious simple meal. thank you grandma.

i head down to Toa Payoh Central to settle some bills and banking before proceeding to HarbourFront by MRT.

i will not be coming in to the office for 4 days. celebrating my 2nd Unionise Anniversary with Zerr in Batam. ferry scheduled at 1715hrs.

a smooth ride. arriving HarbourBay i went to WaffleTown for a Cappuccino while waiting for Zerr to arrive. here at last let's go to Nagoya Hill. not hungry yet, we window shop.what a therapy.

dinner was at Fatmawati, our favourite restaurant. i took Zerr for a walk from Nagoya Hill to Hotel Prima Asia. surprising Zerr, i checked into the hotel.i have made reservation long before the arrival. why Prima Asia? that is where for the first time i met Zerr and fell in love. 2 years past by. up and downs.

we have a little rest. later head down to Plaza Avava. continuing a window shopping therapy, followed by Robinson.

we both walked back to the hotel, followed a different direction. Zerr wanted to buy some Mangoes along the way before heading back to the hotel. we also stopped by Circle K. a new convenience store in Batam. also the first.

tonight. the celebration began.

i rushed home as this is the CSI night. bus arrived on the dot.

reached home turned on the radio and had a cold shower. i helped myself to rice and Kuah Chelok Kepala Ikan Merah. skipped the fish head. i yearned for something sweet and helped myself to a cup of Sweet Mixed Cereal with Brown Rice and Oats. tasty and yummylicious.

i enjoyed the CSI back to back series for 2 straight hours. it was 0400hrs when i tried to wake grandma up but she said that let her rest a little more. sign of tiredness. i wished grandma would stop selling Kueh but she will be bored, that is what she told us before. i wished i have a strong will like grandma. GOD.

i snooze off until 0630hrs when i was woken up to do my regular outine.

take another dive into dreamland and woke up at 1315hrs. i'm getting ready in a rushing mode. the weather outside is wet. it rains earlier on but i just did not noticed while in my sleep. grandma had already return from market and prepared lunch. i skipped. promised grandma i will have the Kari Ikan Kekek when i come back home.

today i'm on duty can't afford to be late. Ms Susan was not feeling well. hope she get well soon.

another staff birthday party is organised today. i attend a little late around 1905hrs. i missed the Birthday Cake. yikes. i ate a little Fried Bee Hoon and some Fried Chicken with 2 pieces of Soon Kueh. shared the table with my CEO and had a little chat. i'm not sure why almost everyone shyed away from him. he is a nice man. of course.

it was not a busy day until the last hour when i had 2 internet problem call. Rizwan assisted me on one case but got caught up. i'm sorry for the last minute troubled.

sat back in the office completing my report and feeling excited while talking to my dear Zerr. i missed him.

lucky me. i managed to catch the bus. service 143.

reached home i helped myself to Sayur Kobis Goreng Telur with some Kuah Kari Ikan. lovely. freshen up an TV time. i slept after CSI series and waking up grandma for her routine.

by 0603hrs i was woken up to do the Kueh delivery. yawn.

went back to the house continue my journey where i left it. it was raining. again. good sleep i had. getting ready for work. grandma came home and bought a packet of rice. looking at the time, it does not allow me to savour the meal immediately. i bring to work.

almost late again reporting for briefing. thank you to my pants. the thread gave way. luckily not on those obvious area. Steve on duty.

somehow i planned an early dinner. together with RC. i really wanted to eat my packet of rice from grandma. do not waste food.

first time i ate so early at work. really first time. smiled.

another busy day we cope. i managed to enjoy a Banana and Apple compliment from Ms Susan. thank you Ms Susan.

i stayed a little late beyond my work time. only to complete my internet update. smile. go home sopi before it is too late.

arrived home happy. grandma was asleep.

freshen up and watched Tv. flipping channel up to 0400hrs. woke grandma up and i took turn to sleep. good night.

2hours and few minutes later, i greeted good morning to the world. time to send the Kueh. it was drizzling outside. i was thinking, it is good to return to bed. i did just that once i'm back at home. another good night.

it was raining hard outside i decided to sleep a little more. grandma on other hand decided not to go out. i finally wake myself up it was 1315hrs on my watch. getting ready for work. the rain did not stop. time for an umbrella.

i took MRT to City Hall going to buy some stuff at Peninsula Plaza. i missed 2 bus. yikes. almost late for work. arriving 4 minutes after the briefing started at 1445hrs. sorry everyone. the rain just stopped. Steve in the office. welcome back brother. 1 week away, i hope you enjoyed your holiday. Steve on duty.

i received a letter from Ms Susan. a letter from the management. i keep it. later when i'm free i will read through. i hope good news. bonus perhaps. laugh. you wished sopi, on this month?

busy but manageable work day. skipped meals. i was thinking of grandma food at home. i stayed awhile to update on my "work". 2 minutes to midnight. run sopi, run. smiled.

i forgot my wallet. i'm so embarassed because i cannot do much. i just kept silence. sopi so careless this time. the driver dropped us at Merlin Tower. we crossed over to KTM for Kanda Jaynar to collect her car. we drove round and round looking for Danga Bay without success. laugh. We are so lost.gave up. decided to have supper at Setulang Laut instead. near the Duty Free complex. we had Ikan Masak 3 Rasa, i’m not sure was it Kerapu or Siakap. i’m still lost. laugh. Satay, Tauhu Bakar, Nasi Lemak for me and Kanda Jaynar. oh yes and the tasty and fresh Otak-Otak. we ate till full but Imah don’t have much appetite.

we drove back to Naza Hotel. a decent hotel. i like. simple yet big and comfortable room.resting time. i took a peep outside the window. it look beautiful. Singapore just next door. smiled.

tried to call to reception to inform them 1 of the room door is ajar. no reply. being a hotelier myself, i'm worried what happen in time of emergency? i informed my embarassment to Kanda Jaynar, the truth that i have left my wallet in the locker. sorry.

we chat. we talk. we bantered. off the TV and time to sleep. good night world.

i'm half wake up. Kanda and Imah is ready to go. Imah will be going to a nearby school. Sekolah Sultan Ismail for some research and survey. i continued sleeping.

almost 1042hrs, wake up sopi. no one in the room. make myself a cup of coffee and switched on the TV. so comfy.

Kanda arrived after sending Imah. i took shower and we are getting ready to check out.

Kanda drive to Pusat Bandar, fill up petrol and we had lunch at 1 of the Indian Muslim restaurant i had Nasi Briyani with Ayam Goreng and Achar. Kanda have a mixed Curried Rice.

after the meal it is time for "goodbye and see you again". thank you so much Kanda and Imah for everything. really, really thank you so much.

passing Malaysian Immigration i took bus service 170 to Singapore custom. a briefed moment i'm back in Singapore. another ride towards Kranji MRT. on duty today.

at work. nothing to write about. all went well. smiled. we have a new staff at workplace. Rafiuddin. call him Rafi.

i rushed home, like i missed grandma.

let him choose whatever movie he desire. i will not say anything. back to Nagoya Hill. movie scheduled at 2330wib.

it is no surprise Zerr chose 'Kangen'.

it was a slow movie with nothing much of a story to tell. simply, it's boring if not for the beautiful cinematography. sighed. a very dull and time wasting movie. Zerr agreed. laugh. finally we agreed on something.

we went home straight. i need so much rest while observing Zerr when he sleep. i miss Zerr, even when we are near.

i recalled in the mid of a prayer call, i fell asleep.

i woke up to Zerr alarm. booked a ferry ticket scheduled at 1130wib. it started to rain outside. it rain very hard. once ready, Zerr holding the umbrella send me all the way out to the main road, whre i will catch an 'angkot'. thank you my Donut. the rain seem to understand it stop for a briefed moment. i managed to crossed the road safely. i was in the 'angkot' before it started to rain again. i will miss my donut every single day, again.

no rain in Jodoh. thank you GOD. i tok 'ojek' to HarbourBay and was in time to board the ferry. feeling a little heavy on my head. i will go through. today i'm on duty.

it started well. it went well. i received a text message from Kanda Jaynar. she is now in Johor Bahru and coming to Singapore. great. we will meet later.

it was amost 2235hrs. my guest very special guest arrived. Kanda Jaynar and partner Imah. showed them some rooms and offered them Chocolate Fondue and some refreshment while i continued with my duty. today no hassle.

2305hrs i rush to go off from duty and allowing myself to be 'kidnapped' to Johor Bahru. smiled. happy to meet Kanda Jaynar and Imah. delighted to be with them. we took a taxi to Queen Street. upon arriving there we was offered by a Malaysian driver at S$5.00 per head to drive us straight into Johore. we took the offer. it was a breeze car ride. no hassle. we arrived at the Malaysian Immigration 1 minute before midnight.

it was 0034hrs. i was woken up by the loud volume on TV. it was Macam-Macam Aznil programme. i took a peep. grandma was laughing to the Aznil antics with the kids. i forced myself to re-sleep.

i woke up early at 0500hrs. thank you RC. getting ready to help grandma and going to work. a cold morning i felt.

today Sabery on duty. it was a little busy but we managed. i closed my shift earlier and going home on time. happy.

Batam here sopi come. today it seemed people travel elsewhere. no weekend crowd. smiled. on the ferry ride instead of be seated all the way. i stood at the back of the ferry deck looking at the bubbly wave. remind me of my childhood when mother like to bring me to the container ship, to meet step-dad.

i arrived 1620wib exactly. waiting game just started. Zerr is late. again.

once Zerr arrived, i decided to walk to Jodoh. looking for Sate Madura.

one of the best place to eat out at Jodoh is opposite BCA bank. i had a lovely Sate Kambing Madura with a plate of rice and Zerr helped himself to Sate Ayam Kuah Kacang with Lontong. a simple meal.

after meal we walked passed by a second hand goods corner. so many things to see with little time. we took angkot to Nagoya Hill meeting Dr Yusuf and his female friend. followed Dr Yusuf do some shopping before we split.

Zerr wanted to watch a movie 'Kangen' starring Bunga C. Lestari much to me against watching it. i really wanted to go home. Zerr gave in and i felt sorry.

we went home.

arriving home i took a little rest. so much needed. a short 30minutes nap is all i need. while Zerr went out to buy some take away dishes, i cooked rice. Zerr being pampered enjoyed me feeding him with my hand. Kangkung Sambal, Kerupuk Putih, Tahu and Tempe Goreng with rice. a simple dinner for us.

once i felt good. i made up with Zerr, i asked Zerr out for a movie. let's go to Nagoya Hill.

another kind of night i like. all went smooth.

room check with Rasheed. 0350hrs.

all in order. so is my job. handing over was a breeze.

go home sopi. go home and rest.

i was not a sleepy ride home. bus service 143.

i arrived home and helped myself to Sardine Sandwich. lovely. freshen up and sleep.

waking up at 1530hrs. helping grandma a little while lazying around watching movie and channel hopping.

grandma bought dinner. Nasi Briyani Ayam. a very delicious Briyani. and the funny part was on TV the programme is also highlighting about the best Nasi Briyani in Singapore. laugh. what a coincidence.

it is a super lazy day. no plan to go out. no plan to step even a foot outdoor.

by 2215hrs i was setting my sleeping area. as i put my head on my comfy pillow. a Chinese prayer just started downstairs. hungry Ghost Festival prayer. unlikely timing for me. bear with it. i piled up my pillows trying to ignore the noise. tolerance is all i need. good night.

just like the night before. all went well. i had a good chat with Zerr. talking about our anniversary plan and singing some song for Zerr. 'Cukup Sudah' a song by Republik, an Indonesian Band make it to our official love song for this year. for the almost 2 years relationship.

room check with Kalai at 0350hrs. in order.

i had good time listening to some music.

the whole early morning i have been helping myself to the Sultana Biscuits compliment from Reena. thank Ms Reena.

making sure all are in order before handing over my duty. the girls are busy with photo taking. infectious hobby.

time to hand over and go home. that was just my thought. helping out a little busy. a 30 minutes later i wished, good night people.

on my way home. i felt good. bus service 143. i slept all the way to Toa Payoh Bus Interchange. yikes. i missed the last bus stop. perhaps because i felt too good.

reached home, the usual stuff. i had 2 pieces of Wadeh and Milk. freshen up and sleep. i woke up around 1530hrs and helped myself to lunch. Curried Lady Finger with Fried Ikan Kembung. simple and delicious. simplicious! before i say rest, i was back to dreamland. a simple life. i woke up at 2minutes to 2100hrs. thank you grandma for the wake up call. shower and getting ready. i was tempted to eat dinner. rice with some Sambal Masak Kemangi hot from the pot. lovely and kill me.

tonight i'm on duty with Ken and Zen just like the last 2 nights ago.

i noticed i board on the same bus as yesterday. the same good looking bus driver. Chinese and young. a good driver who don't waste time idling on the street.

i reached workplace with plenty of time. my brain prompting me that i was thirsty of Pepsi. let's canteen! happy.

the night started a little busy. late flight arrival. thank you guest for not making us difficult further. thank you GOD.

another good chat with Zerr. good to know he well fed himself. waiting to have his 6th meal. laugh. Bunda was around with Zerr, i have no worries.

a very peaceful night.my mind boggling of what gift to get on my 2nd Unionise Anniversary. a new K810i perhaps. laughed.

these few days. hotel industry is making monies. occupancy soared.

room check with Kalai. 0415hrs. all in order. by 0500hrs i have completed my job task. a short rain falling, came to visit earth.

sitting down enjoying snacks from Penang. my favourite is always the Pepper Biscuits. love it. damn! thank you Samm for the thought. i hope your trip to Kuala Lumpur last week was a good one.

can i consider this early breakfast. you bet.

time to go. it is raining outside. i was looking forward to home on this wet and cold morning.

today the bus service 143 is not siding on me. i have to wait for more than 30minutes. that is very long wait for a regular commuter standard like me. nevertheless i'm glad it came after all.

the first thing i do on board of the bus was to closed my eyes and setting and auto wake up while napping. strange. i guessed so. just so used to it.

i arrived home. grandma was asleep. i took a bite of Epok-Epok Sardin. Black Coffee. freshen up and sleep thereafter.

my beauty sleep was disturbed by some phone call. there are only 2 phone call i find not disturbing. first call from Cik Tina, informing me that she is unable to send grandma for her check up tomorrow. doctor appointment. busy with her Kueh order. just like grandma.

second call was a long distance call from Cik Ongy from Australia. miss you aunt. i'm glad you and family are fine. say my hello and regards to my cousin Fazree and Sara. everyone here is doing fine. except for Uncle Lan. nobody know his where about. people said he is a grown up man and we should not be too bothered. though i'm not so close with him.i'm concerned. he is a family member after all.

it was 1534hrs on the clock. let's lunch. French Loaf with Fish Curry. thank you grandma. after meal i helped grandma to fixed her cabinet. there is a crack on the cabinet glass. grandma decided to removed the glass. for convenient she said.

i went back to my comfy pillow. sleep came naturally.

2102hrs. grandma shouting from the living room. wake up sopi. i was ready within 35minutes. on duty tonight with Reena and Zen. by 1012hrs i was standing at the bus stop. bus service 143 to work.

i hope the night will pass without any problem. GOD, please empower me.

a busy start. taking over shift from Rizwan. he was busy. i hope i will not. smiled.

i was cuddling my pillow and looking at the watch it is 0158hrs. the next time i see the watch it was 0406hrs. grandma was about to wake up and the past hours the TV was watching me. sopi, next time remember to save the electricity and the earth. thank you.

grandma was calling my name twice before i reply and acknowledge telling grandma i'm already awake and ready to deliver her Kueh. good morning neighbourhood. it is 0642hrs.

went back to my pillow and forget all about the suffering in life. suffering? i don't think so. smiled. and thank GOD for all that.

i woke up while my brain was sleeping. i need to go to the bank today. again? after shower the clock showed 1146hrs. grandma was not around and Atilla 'Sangkar' was accompanying me. good music.

on my way bumped into grandma. i promised grandma i will be home for my meals. not sure whether it's lunch or dinner.

after settling my miscellaneous at the bank and i roamed around Toa Payoh Central. looking for a good handphone deal. nothing seems right. forget it. head down to Balestier. Shaw Plaza. no movie interest me. even if there is, the timing ain't so good. where's next and what to do?

GoldenMile Complex. soaking in the Thai mood and sampling Thai dessert. that is a real consolation. meeting new friends Boy and "err what was your name", sorry i forgot. 18 minutes before 1800hrs i left GoldenMile Complex. heading home. passed and stop by at Sakura Bakery at Beach Road. bought 3 Egg Tarts and 3 Coconut Tarts. also half dozen of small size French Loaf. for grandma. i love their tarts since i was a little boy. sometime saving some coins to buy. another favourite i did not see today was the Cream Cone Bun.

bus service 145 at Lavender Street opposite ICA Building. grandma i'm going home as promised.

i reached home and help myself to dinner. Mustard Leaf and Bittergourd Fried, Ayam Masak Cili Padi. a little rice. giving way to the tarts near you. big smile.

1 minutes to 1900hrs. i was on bed and ready to take my beauty nap. tonight i'm on duty.

i woke up and the neighbour was already in the house helping grandma and chatting grandma up. we live in peace and harmony. i'm getting ready for work. shower first.

the bus got crowded with every stop it made. never the less i'm reaching soon. work here i come. tonight with Ken and Zen. lucky i don't have Ben at workplace. i have Vincent. i'm 30 minutes early in the office. keep it up sopi.

a good start. a pleasant evening mood. i'm delighted. i called Zerr and had a real good chat. yes i still missed him. take care Zerr.

the bus service 143 head slowly to Toa Payoh leaving me in a sleepy condition. i wished i owned a helicopter. laugh.

reaching home. i went to the kitchen grab all kinds of crackers and feed myself happy. that is the laziest supper. freshen up and nest was sleeping time. good night world. i will be on duty in the morning.

waken up on time. thank you Frosie. shower and ready for work and Kueh delivery.

a lovely morning. i felt breeze running past my face. at a moment i was so missing Zerr. i hope all is well with Zerr.

it was a good work day. even though i was scolded by Ms Susan in the morning i acknowledge my wrong doing and apologised. moved on. life goes on i told myself.

i set a date with Candy for a movie after work. let's meet at 1830hrs at Shaw Centre. at least my free ticket for the private preview of 'Fido' will not put to waste.

i went off at 1600hrs. heading towards Queen Street. meeting Sam. picking up some thing. and surveying Sungei Road for a good deal of second had mobile phone. smiley face.

almost 1745hrs by 2 minutes. ride bus service 65 heading towards Orchard MRT.

walked through the underground passing Tangs Plaza and merged at Shaw Centre. the convenience of underground passage for able people like us. it should have been accessible by handicap too. perhaps the department in charge will look into it. in between the passage there a small stairs. steep. it does not help much for the disabled.

i arrived 1812hrs. waiting at McCafe on the roadside. forcing myself to buy McDonalds Strawberry MilkShake. i never like to spend on McDonalds. i excused myself this time. smile. Candy was nowhere to be seen. i raised and lowered my head many times in hope Candy will turn up. leave the worries and the comfortable seat, i head down to the McCafe in Shaw Centre. there she was waving her hand to me. we had a little confusion of the location to meet. laugh. for your information there are 3 McDonalds outlet in Shaw Centre.

straight to level 13 of Shaw Centre. my third time here in the Shaw Preview Theatre. i shared my dream with Candy that i have dream of my owning my own private theatre like this. smiled. Candy shared the same thought. the movie started.

i enjoyed the movie it had everything packed into the film. a little laugh, a little heartwarming moment, and a little gore not forgetting a little love. all the recipe. yes i would recommend this film for people with simple brain.

we were hungry. Candy suggested Ayam Penyet. the real Ayam Penyet. available in Lucky Plaza. Ayam Penyet Ria in Lucky Plaza. yes the Indonesian housebrand restaurant had been opening the branches for some time now in Lucky Plaza. it also had moved to it's new current location at level 1. the last time it was on level 4. the different is in the serving portion and prices. anything else the same except there is no Basil Leaf as a condiment. it was Candy treat. thank you so much Candy. next will be my turn. yes, dinner on me. no excuse.

Candy is going home after dinner. sopi is going to Serangoon Road. still in mood to do price survey.

from 'Mama & Papa' store to Mustafa Centre. i walked the road. i bet the new N73 Music Edition selling at $290nett is the best price anyone will get but no guarantee, Sungei Road price. i hope the Abang will keep his promise.

go home sopi and don't stay out. though tomorrow on night shift i have no mood to stay back like usual in Little India. on my way home bus service 139.

some i knew. some i don't. a total stranger coming in and out freely. i don't bother. happy Nurdin won the KDI 4. i spend good time talking to Zerr.

after watching the KDI finale. we closed the room door and ready for bed. good night Batam people.

i was the last to take my shower. since waking up earlier at 0852wib.

Sam wanted to have a good breakfast. Adi came and fetched us to HarbourBay.

breakfast at WaffleTown my suggestion. Yopi was no where to be seen after we leave the hotel. strange. arriving at the ferry terminal Sam bought Kek Lapis Keju. adding to his food list. another celebration for him and family this evening. if i'm not wrong it will be at Seletar.

Adi had Siew Mai. Sam had Fried Noodle.

Zerr had Nasi Uduk.

i had the interesting breakfast Waffle with Sausage and Egg & Coffee with Ice Cream. yummy.

take care Zerr. will miss you my dear Donut. a sleepy ferry ride but Sam was there to weaved a story. told and retold.

arriving at HarbourBay Sam asked me to joined him for a coffee. Breeks. i had Cappuccino and Sam had Coffee Latte.

went to work from HarbourFront.

arrived work pretty early and took shower to freshen up. i am ready and was in the office early.

what a slow day. i just sat in the telephone operator desk. updating registration cards and answering call. Steve on duty. just a simple excitement . i received an email from fridae.com i got 2 tickets for a movie preview. Fido. i'm all excited. the work speed do escalate when things get a slightly busy later.

hanging out at the bus stop with Frosie and Pia was not bad at all. i shared my very secret of secrets with Pia. laugh. what she think? asked her. but if she tells you what it is all bout. it is no longer a secret. i trusted her. can i?

their bus arrived. i waited for mine. decided to hop unto bus service 123 heading towards Somerset. so much noise coming from the 'skaters park' behind the bus stop another 12 minutes or less i'm on my way home after changing bus services. pondering what to wear on Sam birthday. Sam turns 55 officially. the birthday celebration is in Batam.

i reached home dig into the kitchen. some left over rice with Fried Fish and Fried Vegetables will do. hungry. thank you grandma. freshen up and watching TV it was 0306hrs when i said my goodnight the people in the universe. with prayer of peace and harmony.

i had a shocking waking up call. a hard knocking on my door. i looked at the watch it was 0704hrs. grandma. my first thought was grandma. she was fast asleep. grandma woke up too. she was late to prepared the Kueh orders. i jump out of my comfortable matress and jumped to the kitchen with grandma. thank you 'towkay' for waking us up. it was hectic morning as we need to meet the order from people around our neighbourhood. some were standing outside the door with patience. thank you business partner. by 0827hrs all order was met up. usually by waking up at 0400hrs, all are done by 0730hrs at a slow pace. imagine the speed my grandma had due to all this. solid. salute grandma. i cleaned the kitchen.

i had a light shower to freshen up. later i had a bite of Epok-Epok with hot Milk Coffee. once digested. i pulled 2 pillows and threw it on the 3 seater chair. i continued my journey where i have left it. only the dream was not the same.

grandma? she was up and ready attending the old folks weekly gathering at the void deck. my super active grandma. she went down at 1000hrs as though nothing had happened.

it was a wet rainy day when i opened my eyes at 1307hrs. heavy rain. grandma just came back from the old folks gathering. she brought a bag of can food and instant food. courtesy of the old folks gathering organiser. thank you kind hearted people.

grandma never take a seat and she was out going to the market. grandma love to go to the market in the noon. i on the other hand was still lost and indecisive of what ferry schedule i should take to Batam. i got everything ready.

i called Julie up. we decided to meet at HarbourFront at 1415hrs.

i arrived around 1412hrs. Julie is no where to be seen. hurry up.1420hrs i saw Julie in a sexy black dress wearing a shiny black wig. ready to party so soon? Kak As was tagging along. i slept my way to Batam. HarbourBay.

i did not informed Zerr prior to my departure from Singapore. only when i arrived in HarbourBay. i used Chichi mobile phone to call. thank you Chichi. Chichi came with Kak Alim and have arranged a car to pick us up. first we send Julie and Kak As to Hotel Prima Asia before heading towards Rumah Makan Sunda Ibu Joko. only to find it closed. dissapointed. we told the driver to drive us to Rumah Makan Sederhana at Windsor, Baloi.

the traffic was terrible. road closure. there is a parade on the main street. we have to make 1 big round for a usual 5 minutes drive. i informed Zerr to meet us. the driver was invited for the lunch too.

as i was having my Nasi Padang. Zerr arrived. Zerr joined us for lunch. thank you to Kak As, Kak Alim and Julie for the lunch. we split direction afterwards. i'm going to Bengkong Kolam where Taufik house is. the rest they are heading back to the hotel room.

i and Zerr take some time observing and enjoying the parade. little children are made to walk more than 2 kilometres. some are in traditional costumes representing the area or province they originated. some look cute and many did not failed to make me laugh.

taxi to Bengkong Kolam via Bengkong Indah. we are lost somewhere. luckily Taufik guided us accordingly. look out for a Pink coloured shophouse.

i and Zerr arrived and was greeted with some work that needs help. Sam the 'birthday boy' was busy cooking. i and Zerr lend our hands. all are prepared before the pick up transfer arrangement arrived.

Taufik boyfriend Oyong is managing the salon for Taufik, just below the house. business seems good. Quest Salon.

Zerr was hungry again. hungry? i smiled and recommended Zerr a food stall across Taufik house.

Sam had gone by 'ojek' from Bengkong Kolam to Jodoh. see you later and get dressed.

Ayu arrived in a car with Nasi Tumpang on his lap. the driver is Mas Adi, a familiar face i knew some 3 years ago. all the food and party needs was put and arranged by Taufik. Windsor Square Hotel here we come.

arriving there i met so many friends i'm familiar with. all of them are my seniors. 'mak ayam' and 'bapak ayam'. hello everyone. young boys are abundance at the hotel lobby awaiting to be pick up as a companion. you are never alone. for me i have Zerr that is all i need for companion. smiled.

in the hotel mini function room. the party started with a Thanksgiving. it went well. with invited and non-invited guest arriving. the non-invited makes Sam goes clueless. a friend of a friend whom comes with our friends. and some friends are stranger to us. there are suddenly so many friends. pity Sam, lucky the food was enough to feed the guest.

after the party i and Zerr settled in Sam's room. 217. we are the invited one to stay and sleep over in Sam's room. watching KDI 4 Finale. Kontes Dangdut Indonesia ke-4. i bet Nurdin will go home a champion. he is so good in singing 'Dangdut' song. plus his look. we are melted. the guy should go home champion this time after 3 straight rows of years the girls had brought home the trophy. Nurdin won.

so many people come and go into Sam's hotel room. it felt like a human exchange terminal.

a slow bus ride home. service 143. i was half asleep.

reaching home i freshen up and watch TV accompanied my grandma for a while, she was doing her Epok-Epok. i continued watching TV even grandma had turned in to sleep. 0024hrs.

0402hrs. sleep sopi. good night grandma. good night world. i realised grandma was about to enter war zone, her kitchen. a short sleep and rest is enough for grandma. wake me up at 0545hrs. will send your Kueh downstairs.

my assigment for the morning. done. back to sleep.

another day started at 1225hrs. shower and lunch before work. rice with Fried French Beans with Carrots and Peppered Sauce Fried Fish. simply delicious.

i was making myself happy on the way to work. infact i was missing Zerr. i really wanted to hear Zerr voices. i missed Zerr badly. look up sopi, look up.

nothing much of follow up today. everyone was busy. even Vincent was in the office assisting with the reservation filing.

2000hrs i called Zerr up. i'm glad he is doing fine now. Zerr is enjoying his night out celebrating Indonesia Independence Day.

i had 4 pieces of it. yummy!

i had just a case of credit card cancellation issue. i have spoken and followed up with our credit card authorisation centre. i have been advised accordingly. the only thing was, the customer i'm assisting is not a good listener and not listening. suit yourself, i'm just assisting and doing my best.

other than that it was a pretty comfortable evening. handing over shift to Sabery was a brief occasion. time to go. accompanied Pia and Frosie to the bus stop. let's go girls.

sleep did not arrive early. i watched some movies. HBO channel.

by the time grandma woke up i was ready to sleep. at least 2 hours before grandma is ready to send her Kueh. wake me up later grandma.

i had an intense dream. so intensed that i wet the bed. by my sweat. just in time for me to deliver the Kueh. grandma was busy asking what i like for breakfast. i just declined.

looking forward to continue my sleep. good night people.

i woke up near to 1230hrs by 2 minutes. grandma had bought lunch for me. Nasi Padang. rice with Achar, Rendang Ayam and Pachri. Achar and Pachri? so not Nasi Padang. get real people. grandma said she heard the Rendang Ayam was popular, the reason she bought for me. to me the Rendang Ayam is salty and grandma Rendang Ayam is the best. period. anyway, thank you grandma for the lunch. thank you GOD for my beautiful heart grandma.

shower and getting ready to work. it was a cloudy day. indecisive to bring my umbrella or not? what the heck just carry my umbrella in the bag. just in case.

i walked down to Toa Payoh Interchange to but some stuff before going to work. decided to take the MRT to Somerset and transfer to bus service 123.

i arrived at workplace just in time. on the dot. smiled. good morning everyone. i have being always greeting my colleagues "good morning" in the afternoon. that is sopi trademark too.

it was not a busy day. only a case of room not ready upon guest checking in. i did all i could to make the guest comfortable. we even offered her a room to utilise before the actual room is ready. we have emphatic. the only problem that disturb me is the promises made by someone representing another department. i do not like it.

skipped dinner since i still can feel my lunch in the stomach. laugh.

another night with no trouble. thank you GOD. i called Zerr up, Zerr sounds like he is sick. take care and get well my dear. my prayer for you.

the weather seems cold outside. chilly night. i stayed in the office. in my mind there is something that bothered me. i felt there was something amiss but i cannot figure. after some music theraphy, the brain got cleared. thank you to Imeem and thank you Ning Baizura. i guessed i'm missing Zerr and could not be by his side on his sick days. be strong sopi. don't think too much. i'm fine.

it was a silent. total silent ride home. starting today there will be no full complete pictures in my blog. only a few pictures will do. for reason i chose and decided with no question. i hope you don't asked me too. wait until September. all will be back in order.

i arrived home with many things running through my mind. what if? why? i washed it away in the shower room. feeling freshed, i turned to bed. good night.

i woke up with the smell of Wadeh in the air. the house phone rang. my wake up call. thank you April.

i woke up in time. shower and waiting for grandma to finish frying her Kueh. grandma was half an hour late waking up this morning. i planted some patience knowing i will be held back due to this. i have bus to catch. nevermind. it is for grandma. willingly i wait.

run sopi, run. the bus approached and arrived in time. in my calculation, i will be reaching at workplace on the dot. minus the changing of uniform. i will be in the office within 10minutes. my late allowance. smiled.

it started as a busy morning. declining towards the afternoon. a number of safe box locked cases. done. nothing to report.

my shift ended and passed swiftly to Sabery.

i did not go back but stayed to assist. we are expecting high occupancy and heavy movement. anyway i have no plan this evening. coaching RC.

another day passed by it was 1900hrs on my watch. go home sopi.

stopped by the canteen to have a cup of Red Bean Soup.

i walked slowly towards the bus stop. a little heavy in my heart. i missed my Zerr. the short phone call does not justified before i left the office. i miss you my Donut.

i made myself to sleep in the bus ride home. bus service 143. stopping at Thomson Road going to an internet cafe. i spend 1 and half hour paying S$2.00 to update myself. by 2200hrs i was walking home. ironically i felt lazy to take the bus ride home. 2 bus stop away. laugh.

reaching home i helped myself to some rice with Sayur Peria and Ikan Parang Goreng. lovely simple dish, thank you grandma.

i noticed, grandma is hooked on the new cable channel offered. Sensasi. currently we had a free preview until end of August. enjoy.

after freshing up, i had a glass of fresh milk and prepared my sleeping area. another night will passed without having a conversation with Zerr.

woke up nice in time. shower was a short one.

everything seems fine this morning. i am on duty.

all was fine at work. until i received a call from Zerr. Zerr was sad. some unfortunate event had happen. his mobile phone and wallet was stolen. i did not get a clear picture as Zerr do not elaborate further. Zerr wanted to meet me. i'm heart broken but i should be strong. the mobile phone is a gift on his birthday from me. i care less about the wallet but it contained all the important document. never think about the monies at all. GOD.

i rushed up. going to HarbourFront. an urgency to go Batam. i called up to Paul to fetch me at HarbourBay. thank you so much Paul.

Paul drive me to Zerr place. we cannot believed and digest that it happen to Zerr.

the first thing we met, Zerr was crying on my shoulder. i told him to chill. properties are replaceable.

after Zerr unfold the story. i told him to eat his noodles and stop crying. me as usual, try to make him laugh and confide him at the very best. all are fine. i have arranged for him to utilised my mobile phone while i got a replacement. smiled.

we head back to HarbourBay stopping by at Jodoh to have dinner. it was a roadside dinner of Bakso and Mie Ayam. my favourite Bakso stall Solo Mawar. the best in town.

received a text message from Charles in the early morning. stressed? chill buddy.

it was indeed a busy morning at work. drag to the afternoon but i have plan. thought of skipping lunch. no. eat sopi.

received another text message from Charles informing me that he will come by the hotel with his sister and a friend of his sister. trying for a job interview. see you later.

fixing 1 of the guest room door. no other follow up after that.

met up with Charles. we walked towards Robertson Walk to Cathay Organisation HQ. another interview.

Charles sister and her friend not sure where to catch the bus to Changi. i recommended them to walk passed Clarke Quay. bus service 2 is available directly to Changi.

it had been so long, i have not walked across Read Bridge at Clarke Quay. it look different now with the Central coming up next to Swissotel Merchant Court.

here we are. me and Charles is heading to Toa Payoh Central. our bus was first to arrived. bye-bye ladies, hope to see you again. meeting Charles working colleagues. i was invited for a free movie. Disturbia. scheduled at 1900hrs but the show would be at Orchard Cine Leisure. Charles had insisted to meet at Toa Payoh knowing Orchard is nearer. you decide Charles.

Shirley and Sherwin had waited for Charles since 1500hrs. Charles how can you do that? never again. thank you.

Charles is hungry. fickled mind on what's for dinner. decided on eating at Onichi Japanese Restaurant.

thank you Charles for the lovely dinner. even though i had a bit of Cheese Cake only.

rush-rush to Orchard Cine Leisure. before we arrived in Cine Leisure, Shirley managed to bought some Donuts at Takashimaya and Milk Tea at MOS Burger from Ngee Ann City for their colleagues who was on duty.

Zerr on other hand is enjoying Bourne Ultimatum at Studio 21 in Batam. i was informed through a short conversation earlier on. enjoy it dear. miss you.

i was seated 1 minutes after the movie had started. i demand some Popcorn from Charles. laugh. i got it . happy. few minutes into the movie the entire row is filled up with Charles friends and colleagues. hello everyone. don't be late next time.

i enjoyed the show. thank you Charles.

the movie 'Lantai 13'done tastefully except on the ending part a total anti-climax, perhaps the the director is in a rush to complete the movie or else the writer have dried up on idea. last but not least the art direction team should have done something better. over all it is better than a stupid movie such as 'Terowong Casablanca'. period.

Zerr decided to spend the night downloading new songs. where else, i who despised sharing music files decided to write a story in my other blog. perfect couple.

soon the 3 hours spend at Biznet at Baloi seems short. lets go home, i suggested. the time showed 7 minutes to 0600wib.

angkot to Mediterinia Baru, we were happily walking to Zerr home in the early morning.

both of us freshen up and meet up in dreamland waking up with a little argument. cranky sopi. sorry my Donut.

Zerr received an invitation via text message earlier on, we were invited to Hendry birthday. it seems we have many friends celebating birthday in August. we will checked who else going. Paul will be going too and later evening Paul will pick us up.

surprisingly we were both not hungry that afternoon. after Zerr finished polishing my shoe, we watched Brokeback Mountain movie together. Zerr finds it romantic. so let it be. to me that is a quality time spend.

after the movie we decided to go to Mega Mall. hunger haunted both of us. with appointment to meet Dr Yusuf too.

let's eat Pizza Hut. Zerr wanted to try the Bulgogi Korean flavour Pizza. for me i stick to my favourite Meat Lovers. i ate more. Beef Stew on Rice. lovely dinner.

as our meals taking shape to be served, Zerr friend Alessandro joined us.

declined to join us for dinner he just had a glass of Iced Tea Latte. as we were chatting, Dr Yusuf arrived with a female friend. it was a brief meeting as Dr Yusuf just wanted to informed Zerr a job opening at one of the popular resort. Zerr was told to prepare his CV within 1 week.

tomorrow Dr Yusuf will be heading to Java, his destination stop will be Bawean Island and followed by a trip to Pelabuhan Ratu. both places take days to travel. i wish i could join Dr Yusuf. really i wished. i really wanted to see the place where my great great-grandfathers came from Bawean Island. i am a Boyanese, and proud to be one.

soon the table for 5 turned to table for 3. as we were finishing dinner Paul came to fetch us.

we are heading to Tiban Atas, that is where Hendry lived. Paul was not alone, he came with 2 new friends. hello, nice meeting both of you and whoever your name was. smile.

it was a smooth ride towards Muka Kuning. suddenly it started to pour. 1 of Paul friends will be dropping by as he is heading towards Batu Aji. the rain soon got a little heavy. going to Hendry house, we must drive up a hill. up the hill on rainy days without street lamp post is challenging. trust me. nevertheless we arrived safely but a little wet. my umbrella a little too small.

there many invited guest. some whom i know, some whom i recognised but i don't know and some whom i only known on the profile website called ManJam. nice meeting you all.

it was a simple celebration. i only taste all the pastries and puddings. sweet tooth sopi. skipped the main dishes. Zerr afford to eat the second round after Pizza Hut. big eater Zerr.

Mas Dani was busy with his bluetooth. interested in Zerr cousin? i bet.

a small chat with Adik Andi on his planned to open a model agency. good. wish you success. he will conduct the first male model audition for his stables coming this September.

as time is ticking we can't stay long. we took our leave and now heading towards HarbourBay. stopping by to drop of Mas Dani near his house. see you soon Mas Dani.

since i'm early i went out at the counter to settled a few pending work issue. completed before my own shift started. we are still soaking in the busy mode. i really hope all this will end soon.

by 0103hrs i have started to batch all of today business transaction. good. night audit awaiting. while waiting for the server to update let's have some biscuits.

all completed by 0427hrs. room check 0445hrs with Fendi. all in order.

nothing much to do, just waiting for the next shift to arrive and take over. i have no report to write and no follow up to hand over. i called it clean. stayed awhile to read some news on the web.

time to go the clock is showing 0840hrs. as i was approaching the lift to go down to the locker room i was approached by a lady wearing a red t-shirt. promoting biscuits.

Lady: sir would you like to try some biscuits?
Me: no, thank you.
Lady: please sir, try some and you will like it. this is Banana Cream Biscuit.
Me: you're promoting for Julie's or Khong Guan?
Lady: Khong Guan Biscuits.(smiled)

Me: oh! i see. let me try.

Me: nice biscuits.
Lady: some more sir?
Me: no! enough.
Lady: please take more sir. if you like, we also promoting Chicken Tandoori Biscuits.
Me: wow! can i have some more for breakfast?
Lady: why not? you can have it all.
Me: thank you but no. you are so kind.
Lady: you're welcome sir. thank you for giving me a chance. at least my boss will know that i'm working. if not my boss will send me back to UAE.

Lady: i will need to resume my previous job as a belly dancer.

well. it did not happen as above. i merely bumped into RC while taking the lift down. thank you RC for the tasty Banana Biscuits. so sweet.

by the time i clocked out, it was 3 minutes to 0900hrs. bus service 51 heading towards Clarke Quay NEL. going to HarbourFront.

i booked a ferry ticket scheduled for 1110hrs. while waiting i felt hungry. let's have some breakfast. Vegetables Mixed Fried Noodles with Egg. nice.

boarding time approaching. as i stepped off the escalator on the boarding room, i met Harry. had a little chat. Harry was not feeling well and decided to cut short his Singapore trip. poor Harry. come again next time and promised to call me. take care. we have a different ferry scheduled and going to different port.

boarding was not a hassled though it was crowded on Saturday morning. the weekend crowd, as usual.

i slept all the way to Batam. long before the ferry had started to leave its dock. woke up in time.

i arrived safely but Zerr is nowhere to be seen. another waiting game.

finally Zerr arrived looking tired himself. i miss you donut. let's lunch.

taxi to Rumah Makan Sunda Ibu Joko. this buffet style eating house is very, very good. affordable and food taste great. it's been more than 9 months since my last vsit. i help myself to my favourite dishes. Zerr too.

once lunch over small chat is over, we went to CenterPoint. Zerr is getting some DVD from his regular shop.

by 1303wib. we left Nagoya heading home.

so much rest is needed. watching Trio Bebek on TV. it was a hilarious good acting drama. loved all the cast.especially that 1. yes, i said that 1. laughed.

i soon went into a deep sleep. so deep i woke up it was around 1934wib. shower and get ready for dinner. Zerr is hungry but not me.

around 2106wib. we were at A&W Nagoya Hill. i skipped dinner while Zerr enjoyed his Fried Chicken with rice.

later we will be meeting Dr Yusuf at Windsor Square Hotel. arriving there saw a number of friends at the hotel lobby. their regular weekend get away. i was told it was Jen birthday. Happy Birthday Jen. Eddie was there too. Eddie? never tell me you are coming. smile. after some talk. i and Zerr excused ourselves and head back to Nagoya Hill.

going for a midnight show at Studio 21. a horror film titled Lantai 13. scheduled for 2350wib.

we hang out within the vicinity while waiting for the show to start. hope it will be a good movie.

i slept in bus service 143 halfway reaching home. alight at Toa Payoh interchange instead of the regular bus stop. yikes.

a neighbour was at home. my lady neighbour who lived in the last house on the same floor originated from Bugis and is married to a Singaporean man. grandma was asking what i would like to have for lunch. my reply. i don't want food i want sleep. freshen up and i did exactly what i told grandma. good night neighbours. i woke up hungry. no one is home my brother Ilias and grandma went to the shop downstairs i guessed. i helped myself to a small serving of rice and Taugeh Ikan Asin. simple yet tasty late lunch. thank you grandma.

i then took a nap. waking up about an hour later. unable to force myself back to sleep i decided to go out. i planned to go GoldenMile Complex and visit the Thai Supermarket. i did see some nice pants there on my last visit. interested to buy. shower, ready and i was out early today.

took bus service 980, direct to Beach Road.

i ended window shopping rather than buy. bumped into Fairool Maya. he was a busy man indeed. playground for him. after calculating the hours. i decided to go to work. a little early.

i had some snacks, Peanut Cookies? i called it Rempeyek Kacang before picking up my items from our department office to be placed back in my locker. a little excited.

lovely break time.

i was all dissapointed to see the so called new locker. the only new was the locker door. from blue and yellow. the managemnet decided to change red and yellow. so after all there is nothing much new.

so much for the trouble. but i'm glad i did not have to change locker number and location. M11 is my locker number since the year 2000.

so after all my locker have a new dress. laugh.

on duty with Frosie, Ken and Uncle Yak. it was a busy evening for Steve doing the second shift. i hope not for me. GOD, please provide me with a comfortable night.

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY SINGAPORE!!

we reached home. settling down before i cook some instant noodles with extra ingredient. Bryan love hot and spicy food. the only thing Bryan don't like would be cucumber. the smell of cucumber can make him run miles away.

we left my house going to Toa Payoh Town Park. showing Bryan what heartlanders living is all about. i'm glad Bryan like the park.

an addition to the town park is the many water plant. too much it seem but it's fine.

some trees that grows here is older than myself.

time to head down for Toa Payoh Central. trust me it felt like 2200hrs here. Bryan was looking up to buy a Chocolate Milkshakes but find dissappointment. next time, next place. he did bought a Steam Pork Bun for consolation. enjoy!

Bryan was watching TV before getting ready to work. grandma likes Bryan because he was a good boy at home. smiled. take care Bryan. see you tonight before your shift ends. i'm on duty tonight.

i was in between nap and watching TV before my brother Ilias arrived. grandma and my brother will be going to a wedding ceremony at Bedok Reservoir. grandma half brother wedding. Tok Saadon and Nek Eton came to fetch grandma.

i have the house to myself. happy. i was switching cable channel between a Tamil movie and a Malay movie. in between i catch a nap. terrific day.

by 1700hrs grandma and brother Ilias was home. brought Nasi Briyani from the wedding function. i had my lunch plus dinner. lovely and thank you grandma.

i was glued on TV waiting for the live telecast of our National Day Parade. this year it was celebrated on a world biggest floating platform at Marina Bay. i like the parade this year, something fresh. i'm happy and proud to be Singaporean. and like many years before i did shed tears. truthfully and sincerely. that's how proud i am.

soon the parade ended it was near 2015hrs. with big bang of fireworks. i always look forward for this session. love the beautiful fireworks. oh yes! if you like fireworks. read below.

i left JavaNet with Eddie after 0410hrs. decided to go home. Eddie will drop me along the way since he is heading towards Tan Tock Seng Hospital. thank you Eddie.

i reached home greeted by a packet of Nasi Lemak compliment of grandpa sister Nek Jorah. nice and delicious. on a hungry morning like this.

i help grandma to deliver her Kueh before freshen up. sleep was calling, bed was waiting. goodnight resident.

i woke up around 1310hrs. thank you to the loyal alarm. grandma was no where to be seen, market perhaps. get ready for work.

a very hot day. very, very hot.

on duty. frosie is on Mc for second day today. after taking and handing over. i enjoyed some premium biscuit Swiss Delice compliment of Uncle Foong. Truffino-Chocolat Noir and Amandelle. very tasty and lovely. really appreciate the taste.

before i stepped out April offered me an Oreo Biscuit. thank you sweetie.

i had a small tiff with Zerr on the phone. unlikely i felt so annoyed. deep inside i missed him but so much of loving someone without speaking your heart out, is terrible.

it was a sleepy bus ride home.

i reached home. grandpa was sleeping in the hall way. taking over my sleeping ground. strange.

i freshen up and set up my sleeping area. gone to soon before i could spell S-L-E-E-P. goodnight.

i woke up so late today. making up all my sleeping hours that i missed lately. smiled in content. grandma had bought 2 Prata Kosong and 1 Prata Telur before leaving the house heading to the market. thank you grandma.

i saw some Pulasan on the table. and helped myself to it. lovely and sweet.

i watched a movie on HBO while enjoying my Prata. can't believe i still have the time to watch till the end of the show. the clock is ticking. get ready for work. shower time.

i send a 7 page of text messages to Zerr. telling him the expectation and disappointment i had, on my way to work in the bus. in any argument stay in the line of truth. i just did that. telling the truth what is there in my heart and telling out what i felt. no grudges. i love you Zerr.

it was a busy day with couple of staff on MC. we could cope, i trust and i'm confident. we had a case of late report from another department, stained item. why must i be informed after the thing had happen many hours ago. only now? the responsibilities i carried out is not as easy as ABC but i was paid to do it. no problem in talking department but will the management understand if some guest refused on understanding? i hope so.

i had skipped all meal today and was offered a chocolate bar from Pia. thank you Pia for sharing the Snickers. lovely you and the Snickers too.

late evening couple of internet connection problem. lucky enough all is settled within time frame. thank you GOD. i stayed a little longer completing my task. glad all are done before i would miss my last bus.

we went to a huge 'hair salon' located on a bright multi level car park. Tom on hand with the scissors and comb. thank you Tom for making us look great. thank you Sharul for the equipment. thank you Eddie for the company.

later Charles joined us from his workplace after closing his shift. welcome Charles. not like us, Charles had his haircut before us. work requirement he said. he paid S$12.00nett to a barber whilst ours was free. laugh. thank you people.

i am somewhat shocked to see the sunlight piercing through my window. trying to compose myself and reached for the telephone. GSM i will be late. thank you for your understanding. i'm not panic just super rush, getting ready for work. i'm sad that i'm super late. and it is Sunday.

i still can't get over that i was late for work while having breakfast.

as i was speeding up my due work. i was called to check the pool. later i decided to officially closed the pool for half the day. sorry guest.

in between my shift it was busy yet we work in a happy environment. making sure all level are happy. staff and guest. also myself. we are expecting a well known music personality. room check before handing over the shift. all is order. so is my shift. completed.

job is not over yet. i'm extending my working hours. overtime. doing the front desk duty. happy. smiled. Steve on duty.

let's have lunch at 1600hrs. Biscuits and Wafer. very happy.

no problem in my work. no problem in my life. finally so happy on Sunday. as i was settling my shift and pre-closing, Mark came with some confectionary. lovely. thank you Mark. we loved the Pandan Slice Cake.

we have a mixed comment on the cake. laugh. i love the coffee flavour though. managed to complete all transactions and waiting for Samm to arrived. i woke up to the morning call but nap to my sleepy eyes. i raised my head and felt slightly dizzy. i will be fine. shower time. i spend too long under the shower. yikes.

it started busy, i abandoned early breakfast plan. finding time to enjoy the important meal of the day. happy and smiled.

finally we arrived. and i was right. it was Rex Restaurant, formerly situated at Mackenzie Road. i'm happy, it served good food. really. Hussain looking slim now. married with 2 wives. first wife in Pakistan with 2 kids. and 1 in Japan. i wonder where and when will he meet his third wife. laugh.

Charles was smiling to my sarcastic jokes all the time. i am always the same and look the same. you heard it yourself Charles from my friend of 11 years, Hussain.

time passed by without me realising, the work day is over. before i ended my shift Candy offered a portion of Pineapple and i stole a slice of Apple from Adelina desk.

i woke up in a hurry. doing my final help to count the Epok-Epok order. getting ready to work. rush-rush shower.grandma gave me some monies and slip it into my bag. for taxi grandma said. thank you grandma. i'm already behind time. lucky taxi was not a problem to flagged.

work started busy until middle of noon. sigh but i'm glad we did not face problem. i need fresh air. a breather perhaps. standing outside 1 of the new outlet that is coming up. replacing the previous tenant whom had ended its tender. 7 years. many thing changed within 7 years. i remember all. not only the outlets also friends that come and go. i'm flashing back memory.

a simple lunch. a piece of Khong Guan Butter Cookies. thank you Ms Susan.

we were all call to Ms susan office. i wonder. what's up? the first time briefing was held in Ms Susan office. i thought something else. laugh. and it was also an introductory to her office. soon all over. smiled.

before i could leave, a task wasgiven out to me. we had just received a new time stamp machine. brand new. once the front desk time stamp machine was fixed i went over to the Concierge. this was a different machine that we had at the front desk. smiled.

while waiting all to be fixed. my stomach was singing to the tune of hunger. food oh food! i left the office officially and went to the canteen to have a bite. Black Peppered Chicken with some Fried French Beans.

well i guessed i'm out early today. laugh. well i find this new Cathay a little over done but i love the pond in the centre tough. i guessed it must be Fengshui purposes.

some interesting shop and i love the transparent glass lift. cool.

let see if there is a movie to catch. no, i don't think so. nothing interesting or i'm lazy to concentrate.

but 3 hours later i'm still stuck on my seat. happily ever after updating some work. laugh. received another hungry call. sopi is hungry. i had Chicken Rice in my mind. lazy to walk, ride on a bus. 1 bus stop away. lazy sopi. smiled. i decided to eat out at Cameron Restaurant an establishment located at Mackenzie Road. Halal Chinese food is served here. i'm here for the Chicken Rice. love the seat. it have not change since i was a small boy.

i enjoyed the meal. soaked in the ambience. a little dissapointed with the time i had. i must rush home. sigh.

the standard price maintained. i like.

home is calling, sopi is sleepy and a little exhausted by now.

sleep was not easy. i'm glued to the TV. CSI:NY, Harry Potter makes me awake up to 0400hrs. sleep sopi sleep. think of the morning plan.

i woke early at 0600hrs just to help grandma. and took a nap until 0715hrs. shower and get ready. happy i'm going to meet Zerr today.

went to Toa Payoh Central to settled some miscellanous in the morning. took a NEL to Farrer Park Station. it's the peak hour. people are rushing to the offices and me still not sure what i want to do before my ferry schdule. beginning of my off day.

passed by this Orange coloured building. nice colour. a new building near Desker Road.

passed by the alley towards Gold Conch Internet.

upon reaching there only i realised it was closed. let's try AJ internet just 3 minutes away. spending an hour exactly updating some work.

grab bus service 147 towards Chinatown. will change to NEL towards HarbourFront.

drinks anyone? not in the train. approaching HarbourFront NEL.

collected my booked ticket. Wavemaster. to Harbour Bay, ferry scheduled at 1105hrs. it was crowded than usual.

boarding time. i was the first few in line. to chose the best seat. selfish sopi. laugh.

before i fall asleep let's cam-whore. laugh.

finally i can see the shore.

Zerr was late to pick me up at 1100hrs. finally, my donut! we decided to have breakfast at Nagoya Hill.

Laksa for me. and Bananut French Toast for Zerr. the Laksa taste weird but not bad.

Zerr makes all the planned. i will just followed. before that let's look for my new pair of shoe. i was dissapointed that all the shoe i like does not come in the size i requested. big dissapointment.

stopped by Studio 21 looking at what's new. nothing much and nothing to watch. window shop.

walk over to Matahari at Lucky Plaza. i have no luck still in finding my shoe. fussy sopi. grinned. Zerr felt time for his lunch. good. i can rest my feet. laugh. i skipped lunch just Zerr alone. Soto Ayam with Ampala and top it up with Kerupuk Putih.

Zerr suggested Robinson Plaza. let's go. near to arriving we saw a newly open mall. Plaza Avava. let's check it out.

soon we are finished, let's go Robinson Plaza followed by Top 100 Jodoh. done. what's the next stop? DC Mall. another mall that we have not visited for long. taxi.

Zerr and my appetite is kicking. Zerr had Rujak Buah and i had Burger Daging Spesial. yummylicious. the drinks taste funny. yikes. Grape Flavour for Zerr and Coco Pandan for me.

done. let's move. we had a big round of window shopping combing floor to floor. shop to shop.

out of sudden Zerr suggested dinner. dinner? i thought we just ate half hours ago. Nyonya. Zerr really wanted to try the Nasi Rames while i settled for Mie Ayam. for me my order was perfect except for the soup. salty to the max. i think the chef wanted to get married for the second time. laugh.

a glass of Chendol ends our meal. we loved the ambience here.

leaving DC Mall behind we took a stroll to Nagoya Hill. i was a long walk but it was a fun walk. poking fun. ear pulling. hair grabbing. gosh! my hair always got messy with Zerr creativity.

as we were reaching Nagoya Hill we saw Dr Yusuf standing at the bus stop waiting for angkot. meet up and say our hello's. we saw some other friends.

now it is my turn to say goodbye. i'm leaving soon to catch the last ferry at 2140wib. i will definitely missed my Zerr. all the fun we had today. i realised, i'm blessed. donut and sausage. will miss you dear. a last hug before goodbyes. with a heavy heart to let go.

i took ojek to HarbourBay. reaching in time. bought some snacks to bring home and a Pocari Sweat to quenched my thirst.

once seated i rest myself after all day walking. tired but happy. looking forward the next time. take care donut, i'm missing you too soon.

meet my new companion. yet to be name. another elephant. will be joining Elly and Eleanor. i thought of giving the name Eprikot. you think?

washed my face. closed my eyes. i had my nap. it will be about 40 minutes later, i will be reaching Singapore.

rush-rush for the last bus once i'm through the immigration. 10 more minutes before midnight. bus service 143. heading home.

a gloomy bus ride. service 143 to work. i'm not. the bus lighting was not good. i'm always happy.

it started good at work. let's go for a morning walk around the workplace. the manpower this morning allowed me to do so. stopped by on the highest level. looking outside the window. no panoramic view. Watermark is progressing good from the bird-eye view i had. Watermark construction was a slow process compared to other constructions behind it. i guessed its all about quality, not quantity.

making sure all in order. floor by floor. by staircase and lift.

tomorrow wil be a comfort day for me. looking forward and planning my off day while doing the floor check. smiled.

everything in order except few less seen places need to be tidied up. e-mail later.

back in the workfield. a few error and mistakes are norm but not regular. we don't allowed the workflow to be hindered. anyone will not allow that to happen. luckily i spotted an error by mistake. be careful next time.

a lazy lunch accompanied Ms Susan and accompanied by Mr Lawrence.

back to work. all in order. a few unsatisfatory was voiced out during the department briefing. i'm done for the day. let's go.

better change for a fresh uniform. it was a long wait. like forever.

finally i helped myself to my uniform. nobody attended to me and Lena was not interested to help either. the longer i wait, the more i'm getting impatience. i want to go off. got it? chill sopi. a rush-rush clocking out. i have appointment with Mr Sponsor. i don't like him to wait.

the bus arrived once i reached the bus stop. good. bus service 123 to Central Plaza next to Tiong Bahru Plaza.

once i'm done with Mr Sponsor at Central Plaza i decided to stopped by home. it's been few days since. a sudden hunger attack. laugh. i opened the fridge and there is a big bag of chicken rice. i took some, let's do Fried Spicy Chicken Rice.

satisfied. full and sleepy. took a nap thereafter. snake.

i woke up around 2140hrs to the noise at the door. soon getting ready, going to the other home. grandma home. packed some belongings.

felt good felt fresh. a quick bus service 153 home.

home at last. before i could say i'm full grandma had prepared a meal for me. thank you grandma. Sotong Goreng Hitam and Gorengan Sayur. lovely.

dessert was in my mind. floating. i had Coco Crunch with Honeydew. hey! that is not dessert. it's breakfast. is it too early? laugh.

i really need to rest and catch a sleep.

good morning! i woke up at 0605hrs. gosh! i'm almost late. thank you grandma for waking me up. this is the outcome of taking a nap after waking up. am i lazy this morning? perhaps. laugh.

rush-rush shower but no quickie. never. squeeze in time to deliver my grandma Kueh to the shop downstairs. on my way.

managed to catch the regular bus timing. with take away breakfast in hand. Wadeh.

it was a quiet morning. good. all in order.

had a case of stained linen by vomit. what happen to this guest? managed to contact the guest and explained the situation of his liability on the stained item. acknowledged.

second case. internet connection. i am unable to do much. first, i was not allowed to put my hand on the laptop. second, the young teenage boy don't speak English. it was a 'chicken and duck' communication. hard to explained and difficult to understand. this is what i called communictaion barrier. i will get someone to assist you later. i'm sorry.

all went well on my shift. thank you GOD. going home soon.

not so soon. as i was stepping out of the office i was approached by staff and guest. asking question. my responsibilities is to provide information. like Ella said, 'no more hassle after this'. i smiled and laugh.

skipping away at the lobby, finally i'm going home.

it was a long wait for the bus to arrived as i had missed the earlier one.

reaching Toa Payoh stopped by a handphone shop. nothing much. go home sopi.

my brother Ilias. the apprentice. helping grandma with preparing potato fillings for the Epok-Epok. clever boy. my future chef. Ilias may be stubborn and reluctant at times but i knew deep inside himself he is a helpful kind. thank you GOD for a brother like him.

dinner was served soon after. i had Sup Petola Telur Burung and Ayam Goreng Tepung. sinfully delicious.

my dessert followed. Jelly with Cream and HoneyDew. thnak you grandma for the wonderful meal. that make up my lunch as well. laugh.

Ilias getting ready and will be going home to Yishun soon. take care brother see you next week. i freshen up. my eyes was on the TV. a sudden sweet carving came attacking. i'm not hungry just carving. what a better way to have my designer snack. laugh. Raisin Bread with Milo Dust. making it was easy. took 2 slices of Raisin Bread pour some Condensed Milk, damp but not wet. shift the Milo powder on top. and ready in no time. enjoy!

TV time. i was in no mood to do anything. let say my goodnight to the world. it was almost 2142hrs on my watch.

wake up shower. it was 0545hrs when i had my first bite for the day. breakfast is important. grandma was busy in the kitchen preparing her Kueh order. i'm the QC. laugh.

time for work i'm on duty today. yes today i also have to report for IPPT. will be finishing work at 1400hrs. smile.

a busy day with a big group checking out. happily there is no hiccups. thank you GOD.

lunch. a Banana. i called binano. compliment from April. thank you April.

while having my superb lunch i tried to finish updating my blog. there have been few problems lately. my USB is unreadable. i had all my blog posting stored but i can't open it. all is done since i did something right. it had left me a little stress to retrieve the words i have type into storage. therefore if you may notice some posting had no words or captions previously. for now all is completed. my blog from 17th July to current is restored. thank you GOD.

it started to pour outside. rainy days. should i go for my IPPT? i think just come to report will be fine. no running allowed in the rain. thats ruled. Rizwan came at 1400hrs taking over my duty for an hour before the afternoon shift started. thank you Rizwan.

it was still raining when i left the workplace.

happily i was sitting in the bus. i received a call from a colleague whom had arrived early at CDA, informing me the IPPT was called off. i trusted him.

i called up Mr Sponsor since i'm near his vicinity to meet up. Buona Vista. Mr Sponsor look surprised and happy when i told him Ning Baizura was engaged to a British guy. we are happy for Ning. like forever. Ning Baizura, single or taken does not bother us. Ning Baizura inspires us throughout the phase of our life. for me, Ning Baizura is an idol i always look up to. so is the super shy Mr Sponsor. never feel you fail in life if you fall.

i went home happy with some comfirmation from Mr Sponsor. smiled. big smiled. let's wait 2008. happy.

my brother Ilias was at home. listen to music while reading magazine. so grown up and some teenage. miss you bro. a regular at grandma place on weekend. helping grandma.

grandma immediately prepared dinner seeing me home. thank you so much grandma. love you. Ilias was assigned to fry the marinated chicken wings and reheat the Asam Pedas with Okra. and i reheat my favourite, Fried Bitter Gourd. a simple dinner for me and Ilias. grandma had her share of Fried Chicken Wings. grandma love Chicken Wings.

freshen up and spend quality time with my brother. we watched TV.

i was enjoying a RTM slot. Bintang Asli Remaja. a traditional song singing contest. deserving winner, Najib. my eyes was tired by then. good night world.

i was wide awake when i received call from RC for my morning call. thank you RC. another day just started. lovely.

Samm on duty.

a busy day, managing group arrival.

lunch was a simple affair.

loved the Taugeh. yummy.

tried to leave the office early. have a staff party to attend.

bumped into John in the lift, busy with the birtday cake.

while waiting for the party to start, update my necessary.

the first few crowd. early birds.

a compulsary decorations of balloons.

this month we had the party in a different function room.

it started once our boss stepped into the function room.

some of the birthday boys and girls.

the food, a little different but familiar. i had my share. thank you.

the diners on my table.

the party goes on. a lot of karaoke songs. none my taste.

soon the crowd got lesser. and the room is mine. laugh. karaoke anyone?

let's go home. stopping by at the canteen and tempted to have the Sambal Fishcake. nice.

another day ended in my work life. laugh.

i'm sleepy and dragging myself home.

went around Toa Payoh Central before going home. i felt bored. same thing to look at. sigh.

i reached home greeted by aroma of black pepper. grandma prepared Petola Suun Lada Hitam. lovely. my late mum signature dish. with ikan Sepat Goreng.

freshen up and helping grandma to prepare some ingredients for her Wade and Epok-Epok.

a small chat with my donut Zerr, lazying around soon after. stuck on watching movies on HBO.

the movie ended almost 2330hrs. i'm sleepy. good night world.

unable to go home on time. as i stepped outside the office a number of guest approached. i can't ignore and run away. never.

reached home and to my surprised Mama Ann was making a lot of noise he lost his mobile phone. Mama Ann assumed someone had stolen his mobile phone while he was sleeping.

a little check and further investigation we found out some truth. let's confront the culprit. Julie will handled this matter.

finally i took time to eat the Apam Pulau Pinang. lovely. while accompanying Julie to the bus stop meeting the suspected culprit.

we managed to dig out the truth and retrieved the mobile phone after a few talk. so it was done out of desperation. never do it again. we forgive you this time.

sopi go and shower. sleeping was in my mind. i'm in no mood to eat anything after that.

i woke up hungry. 1910hrs, very hungry. work out in the kitchen. my meal of the day. Fried Vegetables Rice with Maruku Chips. lovely.

managed to catch a beauty nap after the meals. snake.

my loyal alarm sounded at 2100hrs. i was getting ready to work and doing it at a slow pace. i think a tortoise will win the race. at work later i will have the same team as last night. smiled.

it was Kat and Zoe last working day with us. good luck to both of you.

my night started with an internet connection problem in a guest room. solved and done. another night to pass. it is my last night shift in this roster. wish me luck. GOD provide me.

by then i remembered another i had in my bag. Geti. a sweet peanut coated with sesame seeds. tasty snack from Java from Zerr last trip home. i love it.

our regular 'karang guni ' man doing his routine in our rubbish centre. they can have all the things in the bin, provided they clear if there is any mess. most of the time they oblige. smiled.

a wet, wet morning. nice cold weather. should be sleeping at home. laugh.

the shift is ending soon. i stayed a while to clear some pending matters. it was almost 0910hrs when i stepped out of the office.

changed. and went to the canteen for a cuppa. hot cups of Coffee with Milk. i need it badly.

i reached home, freshen up and did some laundry. while my clothes is in the tub is spinning so is my stomache. let's have a simple breakfast. rice with Prawn Crackers and a small piece of Omellete. lovely.

i did not sleep soon after laundry. catching repeat telecast of 'Anugerah 2007' grand finale. i'm glad 1 of my favourites Maia Rahman clinched the runner up place. happy for you. i expected Aliff to walk away as champion long before. i had said before, nowadays people listen with their eyes. very rare people understand what good voice is about. go and listen to Maria Callas. smiled.

it was almost 1415hrs before i felt so tired and need to jump into dreamland. goodnight.

i woke up at 1900hrs just in time when Julie arrived home from Batam. hello, how was the trip this time. what is your scored? laugh.
